The owner, Tom Stanley, gained the necessary experience from the two generation family business and working for another paving company in Richmond. Tom decided to form his own company in Gloucester County, where he was raised. He saw a need from both residents and businesses in Gloucester and the surrounding areas for asphalt paving and maintenance.

In early 2007, Tom’s Paving began business in Gloucester County only able to offer seal coating and small maintenance to parking lots and driveways. We are proud to say we can meet demands of commercial and VDOT projects with quality, as well as continue to take fuller care of our residential customers. We work with local companies to obtain the finest products to achieve the best result.

Asphalt paving and maintenance is a hard industry to work in. With the temperature of the asphalt at 250-300 degrees and 100 degree days, this is not your ideal, easy job BUT we love what we do! We strive for excellence and work with integrity to make our customers happy. The focus of Tom’s Paving is to provide every customer with a fair price that doesn’t compromise the quality of work.

Our services include gravel, asphalt paving, resurfacing/overlays, seal coating, pothole repair, crack filling, line striping, and signage.

We accept cash, check, cashiers check and credit/debit cards (with an added 3.5% convenience fee).

The areas we serve are in Gloucester, Mathews, West Point, Yorktown, Poquoson, Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, all areas of the Northern Neck and the Middle Peninsula
